This is the first tornado warning I actually vividly remember. I was only 7 years old at the time, and it was the first time I think I ever heard a tornado siren go off. I didn’t know what it was at first, and I kept asking my mom. I also vividly remember the hail splashing my swimming pool like crazy that day. I begin to appreciate this video as it documents the Dallas siren system before it changed, and it reminds me of a rather significant point in my former lifestyle. I no longer live in Dallas, but I do miss that city so much, even these types of storms believe it or not.

Actually trippy to see Continental on a 787. I always associate them to at most the early 00s so I forget they were technically around long enough to see the 78.

I’ll never forget the complimentary food for economy. It didn’t cost them much to serve a 50 cent egg and turn it into an omelette with fruit and bread for us. Nowadays you can only get that in business lol

Looking back that merger did not go well I feel, the CO feeling onboard was better and the crew made that so. Now United is just okay in business class but it does lack that sparkle that CO gave to the customer.
